A documentary on FES [Functional Electrical Stimulation] Technology in North America and Europe - This program included following the progress of a young woman who is classified as a partial quadriplegic, from her “first stand” to her walk down the aisle at her wedding; an older gentleman - quadriplegic for 25 years - who regained the use of his hands; a father who as a paraplegic can now walk slowly with a natural gait; and other FES applications such as for bowel and bladder control.

It includes the design and manufacturing of prosthetic ears, the design and implementation of prosthetics for hip and knee replacements, and the tissue engineering work with numerous applications of the Vacanti brothers.
